(Videon alkupuoli antaa tosiaankin hyvin harvinaisen ja sympaattisen, "presenceä" ("läsnäoloa") huokuvan lähikuvan CCR:n harjoituksista. John Fogerty arvioi Doug Cliffordin pitäneen hiukan liian nopeaa tempoa rummuissa, sillä Green River ja sen komppi muistuttaa hänen mielestään pikemminkin shufflea kuin rockia.
Kuulemme/näemme loppuosan Green Riveristä ja alkuosan Tombstone Shadowista, joka sitten muuttuu live-esitykseksi - välissä lyhyet haastattelupätkät.
Tällaisia "taviksia" nämä nuoret ja innokkaat (John tietysti virtuoosina) muusikot olivat silloin, kun CCR:n paraikaa (-69) nousi ennätyksellisen kovaa vauhtia maailman Rock'n Roll bändien ykköseksi.
Kovin erilainen geeni on sattunut määräämään veljesten tukkamallin (nuorempi John, suora, ruskea - vanhempi Tom, vaalea, kihara). Veljeksiä muuten oli yhteensä viisi (5) !)

The event was the 20th reunion of the class of 1963 from the El Cerrito High School at the Concor Here's an obscure musical performance I stumbled upon recently -- the very last performance of Creedence Clearwater Revival in November 1983.

The event was the 20th reunion of the class of 1963 from the El Cerrito High School at the Concord Inn in El Cerrito, CA. John Fogerty, Stu Cook and Doug Clifford reunited for the last time, using their original band name of the Blue Velvets.
They perform 4 songs on this video - Born On The Bayou, Bad Moon Rising, Baby Don't Go and Good Golly Miss Molly.
The quality is mediocre, and I have no idea who the original camera operator was. This multi-generation copy is believed to be in the public domain after having been shared from one archivist to another.

(Surkean tasoinen mutta erittäin harvinainen video, joka lienee ainoa dokumentti todistettavasti viimeisestä kerrasta, jolloin CCR-trio, joka valmistui El Cerriton high-schoolista 1963, esiintyy - tässä 1983 reunion-keikalla.
Johnin vanhempi veli Tom oli valmistunut lukiosta jo kolme vuotta aiemmin, eikä senkään vuoksi soita tässä.
CCR:n kotipaikka El Cerrito sijaitsee Berkeleyn vieressä, noin 25 km San Franciscon keskustasta.
Good Golly Miss Mollyssa Fogerty näyttää huonosta äänentoistostakin huolimatta, miten sitä rokkia oikein soitetaan ja lauletaan tanssittavasti. )

Trivia Time: First off, that's John Cougar Mellencamps band backing up John. Also, this was the first time in almost 10 years that John Fogarty performed in public. It would be years, though, before he would do any CCR material.
